Channels and Channel Groups
In FeedDemon, a channel is a source of news items. For example, the RSS feed of The New York Times is a channel. Channels are listed in the channel bar, which is the left panel in FeedDemon.
A channel group is a collection of channels. Channel groups are used to organize channels into categories. For example, the "Entertainment" channel group contains channels related to music, TV and movies.
- To change the channel group: Select from the channel group dropdown at the top of the channel bar
- To add a channel: Click the New Channel toolbutton, or select to display the "New Channel" wizard. Next, enter the URL of the RSS feed and follow the instructions on the wizard.
- To add a channel group: Select , or click the arrow to the right of the the New Channel toolbutton and select New Channel Group
